Learning Pathway Pt 1: AI/ML for us Mech./Aero Engineers

Without exaggeration, I have received several hundreds of requests that go something like “what steps should I take to learn machine learning”, or “how do I learn enough about AI to use it in my (CAE) day job”. It’s impossible to reach everybody, and part of my motivation to write my book was to scale my effort to reach more people. Since many readers here don’t have access to the book, or don’t even know I wrote a book, I wanted to share some of that here.

Before we go deeper: just wanted to say I am very touched to pass through the 2k subscriber milestone here on Substack. I think we have a special community brewing and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for my followers. So much so, that despite tearing my hamstring a few hours ago tonight, the show must go on and I am pleased to share (what I hope is) useful information to my audience here on this late Sunday night.
